Felix Rozenbaum has been a proud resident of the New York City area since 1991 and is best known for his role as president of Optimum Income Tax & Accounting Solution, which he founded in 2009.

Business owners, condominium associations and co-op boards, as well as a variety of small businesses, depend on Felix for everything from cloud accounting and payroll services to strategic financial management insights, IRS representation and tax planning and preparation. He is skilled and certified with various web-based applications, and while he enjoys all of the wide range of services he provides clients, Felix truly delights in taking on a complex financial problem and devising simple, effective solutions that leave not even the slightest detail unaddressed.

Clients who have worked with Felix tend to become loyal fans of the firm. That’s probably because he is extremely dedicated to fully researching, understanding and applying the specialized knowledge that helps clients succeed – whether in the battle against the competition in their individual market niche or going toe-to-toe with the IRS, state tax and labor departments or the Workers' Compensation Board. Felix’s attention to detail is legendary among New York business owners, as is his level of professionalism and commitment to being responsive to clients when they need his advice.

As the treasurer of the condo association representing his own home in Brooklyn, a position he has held for over seven years, Felix is personally as well as professionally acquainted with the many logistical, interpersonal, legal and financial challenges of running this type of organization. He is a member of Council of New York Cooperatives & Condominiums. He is also a member of the National Society of Accountants and sits on the board of the New York State Society of CPAs, Queens/Brooklyn Chapter.

Felix was born in Ukraine and immigrated to the US at the age of 14. A fluent Russian speaker who learned to speak English in only eight months, he received an award of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressman Charles Schumer for the accomplishment he made during that time, presented at Felix’s junior high school graduation. He continued to do well in school and went on to graduate with cum laude honors from Bernard Baruch College, one of the senior colleges that make up the City University of New York (CUNY).

Beginning his career while still in college as a part time worker in the Accounts Payable Department of Altria Group, Inc. (formerly Philip Morris Companies, Inc), a top Fortune 500 company, Felix was quickly promoted to full-time accountant, senior accountant and finally specialist in SEC financial reporting. He then moved to one of the world’s largest accounting firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he provided auditing and advisory services to numerous public and private clients that included L’Oreal Corporation, Nature’s Bounty, EOS Airlines, General Cigar, Russell Reynolds Associates, Hubbell, Inc. and many others before founding his own firm.

When not engaged in his work, Felix enjoys playing chess, as well as kickboxing, swimming and soccer. He also likes to travel with his wife and two young sons.
